1. Awareness — Awareness/mindfulness of our own, and others’, thoughts AND feelings, and actions. Awareness is always the first key to change. Step 1: Awareness
2. Acceptance — Accept that people think, feel, say, and do what they will, but also accept that what YOU think, feel, say, and do, as a response, is totally, 100% up to YOU (emotional responsibility/ownership). Step 2: Acceptance
3. Action (or no Action) — Act or don’t act, it’s (always) up to you! No matter how strongly you think or feel, you can act, or NOT act… it’s totally up to you. Step 3: Action (or no Action)
4. Allies — Connect with safe people who accept, honor, support, and encourage you in healthy, productive, positive ways. Step 4: Allies
5. Accountability — Build self- and other-accountability into your life, to help you make the very best choices, and get the very best outcomes and results you can in all areas of your life. Step 5: Accountability
